MONTASENSE AZ combines Mometasone Furoate, a corticosteroid, and Azelastine Hydrochloride, an antihistamine, to provide relief from symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis. Mometasone Furoate helps reduce inflammation and swelling inside the nasal passages, while Azelastine Hydrochloride helps block the effects of histamine, a chemical involved in allergic reactions. Together, the combination may help relieve nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose and nasal itching caused by allergies. MONTASENSE AZ is intended for use as directed by a healthcare professional. Regular use as prescribed may help provide better control of persistent nasal allergy symptoms.
How to use
Use MONTASENSE AZ exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Gently blow your nose before using the spray. Shake the bottle if instructed, keep your head in the recommended position, and spray the prescribed dose into each nostril. Breathe gently through your nose while administering the spray. Avoid spraying the medicine directly onto the nasal septum. Do not exceed the recommended dose or frequency. If you miss a dose, use it when you remember unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Do not use an extra dose to compensate for a missed dose. Clean the spray nozzle regularly according to the product instructions and do not share the nasal spray with other people.
Storage
Store MONTASENSE AZ in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use and keep it out of the reach of children. Do not use the nasal spray after its expiry date or if the bottle or spray nozzle is damaged.
