Medicine information
Uses & overview
BUDESHINE PLUS 400 contains Budesonide IP 400 mcg, Glycopyrronium 25 mcg and Formoterol Fumarate 12 mcg. It combines an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) and a long-acting beta-2 agonist (LABA) to provide complementary effects on the airways. Budesonide helps reduce inflammation and swelling in the airways. Glycopyrronium helps relax the airway muscles by reducing cholinergic-mediated airway constriction. Formoterol Fumarate is a long-acting bronchodilator that helps relax the airway muscles and improve airflow. Together, these medicines can help improve lung function and control respiratory symptoms in patients for whom this combination is prescribed, particularly in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other approved respiratory indications. Use BUDESHINE PLUS 400 regularly as directed by your healthcare professional.
How to use
Use BUDESHINE PLUS 400 exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow the instructions supplied with the inhaler/device carefully and use the correct inhalation technique. Take the prescribed dose at the recommended time each day. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or stop regular treatment without consulting your doctor. After inhalation, rinse your mouth with water and spit it out. This can help reduce the risk of oral fungal infections associated with inhaled corticosteroids. BUDESHINE PLUS 400 is intended for regular maintenance treatment and should not be relied upon for immediate relief of a sudden breathing problem. Keep your prescribed rescue/reliever medicine available if advised by your healthcare professional.
Storage
