ALFUGEM T 2.5/10 is a pharmaceutical product from Steris Healthcare containing Alfuzosin 10 mg and Tadalafil 2.5 mg Tablets. This combination brings together two active ingredients that act through different mechanisms and may be prescribed for selected patients experiencing lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Alfuzosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that helps relax smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, potentially improving urinary flow and relieving certain urinary symptoms. Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used for erectile dysfunction and, in appropriate formulations, urinary symptoms associated with BPH. How to use
Take ALFUGEM T 2.5/10 exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow the dosage and administration instructions provided by your healthcare professional and the approved product leaflet. Take the tablet as directed, and do not change the dose or discontinue treatment without medical advice. Inform your doctor if you have low blood pressure, heart disease, kidney or liver problems, or are taking medicines for blood pressure or erectile dysfunction. Alfuzosin and tadalafil may cause dizziness or a decrease in blood pressure. Do not take nitrate medicines with tadalafil because this combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Seek medical advice if you experience persistent or severe side effects.
Storage
Store ALFUGEM T 2.5/10 in its original packaging according to the storage instructions printed on the product label. Protect the tablets from excessive heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Keep the medicine out of reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date.
