Mesalamine 800 mg is a prescription anti-inflammatory medicine used primarily to treat active ulcerative colitis and help maintain remission. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that can cause symptoms including diarrhea, rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, urgency, and frequent bowel movements. Mesalamine belongs to the aminosalicylate class and works mainly on the lining of the gastrointestinal tract to reduce inflammation. The 800 mg strength may be prescribed according to the severity of symptoms and the specific mesalamine formulation being used. Because different products are designed to release mesalamine at different locations in the digestive tract, it is important to use the exact product and dosage prescribed by your healthcare professional. If you are searching for Mesalamine 800 mg for sale or looking to buy Mesalamine 800 mg online, choose a legitimate, licensed pharmacy and use the medicine only as directed. Possible side effects include headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort, indigestion, or diarrhea. Patients with kidney or liver problems should inform their doctor before treatment. Healthcare professionals may recommend periodic monitoring, particularly during long-term therapy.
कैसे उपयोग करें
Take Mesalamine 800 mg exactly as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. The dosage and frequency depend on the severity of ulcerative colitis, whether treatment is for an active flare or maintenance, and the specific formulation prescribed. Take each dose at approximately the same time every day to maintain a consistent treatment routine. Swallow the tablet whole with water unless your healthcare professional provides different instructions. Do not crush, chew, split, or break modified-release or delayed-release tablets, because doing so may interfere with the intended release of the medicine. Follow the product-specific instructions regarding food, as administration recommendations can vary between mesalamine formulations. If you miss a dose, take it when you remember unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Do not take a double dose to compensate. Continue taking the medicine for the full duration recommended by your doctor, even when your symptoms improve. Drink adequate fluids unless your doctor has advised you to restrict fluid intake. Tell your healthcare professional if you have kidney disease, liver disease, asthma, salicylate sensitivity, or previous reactions to mesalamine. Your doctor may recommend blood or urine tests to monitor kidney function during treatment. Seek prompt medical attention for severe abdominal pain, unusual bleeding, rash, fever, breathing difficulty, or significant changes in urination. Do not change the dose or stop long-term treatment without discussing it with your healthcare professional.
